As a senior leadership team member at Future Skills Group since 2007, I played a key role in managing and growing the institution over 18 years, consistently maintaining Category I status from NZ Quality Assurance Authority.
From a small revenue base of NZD 1.5 mn to substantial revenue of NZD 30 mn plus, with growth in both export and domestic education, Future Skills Group witnessed several product launches, diversified revenue streams and two start-up ventures.
In the last position as the Group DCE of Future Skills Academy and Auckland International Campus, I led revenue growth, marketing, implemented cutting-edge systems, and drove transformative initiatives. From leading digital transformation to reimagining branding strategies, I oversaw the marketing, communications, and technology teams to ensure exceptional experiences for all stakeholders.
Auckland International Campus (A Future Skills-Otago Polytechnic partnership start-up
As CEO of Auckland International Campus (New Zealand's largest private-public partnership campus), I was instrumental in establishing the strategic direction with an emphasis on educational excellence and revenue diversification. This included developing pioneering online platforms for learner capability assessment and graduate employability enhancement.
Prior to becoming the CEO and as a founding member of Auckland International Campus in 2012, key responsibilities included:
- Recruiting and developing a high-performing inaugural team
- Cultivating an innovative, empowered organizational culture
- Designing and implementing systems for operational excellence and quality assurance
